Setting and achieving goals for teenagers at this time of life can be stressful and time is scarce!

In two 90 minute sessions, teens will learn and practice the EFT Tapping technique and save many hours spent worrying, feeling upset or procrastinating on assignments and school work.

EFT (Emotional Freedom Techniques), or tapping, is a self-applied stress management tool that can help with:

EFT is an evidence based stress management technique

EFT has been researched in more than 10 countries, by more than 60 investigators, whose results have been published in more than 20 different peer-reviewed journals. Here is a link to five papers on its use with students.

Catherine and Falguni have both taught tapping to their children to help them: feel empowered in relationships with others at school, reduce fears about a past accident on the school bus, recover from meltdown before GCSEs, understand the reasons for their procrastination to finally complete important assignments, overcome insomnia to get sleep the night before the SAT, and deal with friendship woes.
In turn, they have taught it to their friends to reduce opening night jitters and to feel calmly confident against a very tall basketball opponent!

EFT is quick and easy to learn. We will keep the group capped at eight to ensure each participant gets ample time and practice.

Conscious Parenting workshopFrom homework, bed time, sibling rivalry and bullying issues to leaving for university, dating, and beyond – parenting can be an emotional roller coaster no matter how old your children are, bringing guilt, stress, frustration, worry, self doubt and more frustration.

Parenting is one of the toughest and most important jobs in the world and yet we have no training for it. What this means is that we often parent from the unconscious basis of our own experience.

Research shows that parenting styles have a huge impact on children and their development; behavior, health, and emotional intelligence. To have a healthy parenting style with the right balance of nurturing with boundaries, we need to parent consciously.

Parenting can be less stressful when we parent consciously and mindfully. This workshop is about noticing our own patterns, getting ourselves out of our own way, building authentic relationships with our children so they can be self-assured, empathic and resilient.

As a parent myself, I know how stress can build up and affect all the family members. In my parenting journey I have found a few tools and techniques to be invaluable, which you will learn in this workshop. These tools include the EFT tapping technique, Listening skills, Building rapport, developing empathy and more.

Learning to parent “consciously” has been transformative in resolving the stresses that have invariably surfaced within our family over the years. My children are now 20 and 16 years old, and our relationship has never been better. I am passionate about sharing my work with all parents out there because I know this works.

In this half-day workshop I will demonstrate how EFT and other tools enable us to parent consciously and mindfully. You will learn how to use the EFT technique for your own stress and worries, as well as how to teach it to your children.

This workshop will address:

  • Calming young children having strong emotional feelings
  • Dealing with nightmares and fears
  • Issues with friends, bullying, isolation, feeling left out
  • Aches and pains
  • School/University stress, confidence, performance anxiety
  • Moving school, home or country
  • Helping children of all ages deal with stress in their lives

Support Group for Emotional Well Being: 6 sessions over 6 weeks

Are you in need of support for self-care, to maximise your emotional well-being?

It’s so much easier sometimes to get by in life using the same old coping mechanisms. But you could choose differently, to value yourself enough to reach out and connect and learn new ways to start living instead of coping.

Sharing and being supported in a group can be profoundly helpful; it can often bring new perspectives to help you see your situation a new light, bringing new solutions as you build connection with the other group members.

In this closed support group, we practice the EFT tapping technique, grounding and breath exercises, self-compassion and mindfulness as we share our experiences within the confidential group space.

You will come away with practical tools and strategies to implement into your busy life.

This weekly group is an opportunity to receive continuous support for your emotional well being. It provides a safe and confidential space to free us from the emotional burdens that we all carry with us. Bring any issues you know are weighing you down, limiting you or holding you back and be open to receiving support.

A cost effective option compared to individual sessions.

Each group accommodates maximum 6 people and runs once a week over 6 weeks.

Decoding physical symptoms

Resolve chronic symptoms. Regain optimal health.
Are you suffering from chronic pain or physical problem that has left you frustrated, overwhelmed, afraid, confused? Have you “tried everything” and nothing has worked?

Rather than simply managing the symptoms, getting to the root cause of the symptom and taking conscious actions can allow the body to self heal.

Our bodies are auto-regulating systems that are designed to heal naturally. If you cut your finger, the cut heals automatically – unless it is prevented from healing in some way. So why is it that some symptoms simply don’t seem to resolve?

What gets in the way of your body healing?

META-Health shoulder painWhen injuries, physical pain and illnesses recur or stay chronic over extended periods of time, there is usually some unconsidered aspect getting in the way. Healing can be impeded by unconscious thought patterns, beliefs, decisions, stressful environments, habits, as well as lifestyle choices.

Recent, acute physical injuries (for example, a fracture, sprain or muscle injury) can heal faster when any emotional and mental residue from the time of injury is recognised and released. This could be fear experienced at the time of injury, something seen, heard or felt, any limiting beliefs, even worry or anxiety from receiving a diagnosis.

What if you knew exactly what needs to be resolved and to allow your body to heal fast?

META-Health is the science of body-mind-social health with a focus on how specific stress triggers, emotions and beliefs affect specific organ symptoms. It is about the interconnectedness of the body, mind and social environment and the art of self-healing.

  • EFT Certification Training Level I and II
    Use EFT to transform your own life and become a practitioner to empower others.
    This training is a combined Level I & II three day training in which you will learn the full set of EFT skills. Level I is an introduction to foundational EFT where you learn basic knowledge and skills. Whether your intention is to help yourself or to become an EFT therapist, Level I is the first step and an essential part of the course.
    In Level II you will gain a solid foundation in EFT, sharpening your technique and approach using tools from the EFT Toolbox for dealing with limiting core beliefs, trauma and also physical symptoms.

    This training includes pre-course reading and post-course materials plus follow up group Skype call.

In this introductory group you will experience the EFT tapping technique, and learn how to use it for yourself to help with daily stresses. EFT is not only powerful and effective but also very simple to use.

EFT is a relaxing mind-body technique that is safe, gentle, and non-invasive. EFT allows us to release uncomfortable feelings like anger, hurt, guilt, fear or grief so we can feel better fast. It combines a gentle touch with conscious attention; we tap with our fingertips on acupressure points on the hands, face and body while focusing on an issue we wish to resolve. I will lead participants through experiential group exercises with EFT tapping, including a brief introduction for those who are new to this technique.

It doesn’t matter if you know how to tap or not, whether you’re just starting out with EFT or are an experienced tapper, you can just tap along with me.

Some areas we can work with are frustration, anxiety, relationships, job stress, physical pain, phobias, connection, more peace and happiness in your daily life. So simply bring an open mind and an issue in your life that you would like to explore.

No two tapping groups are the same, as we have different participants, touch on different issues and there is often a group theme.

Tapping as a group literally benefits everyone, because tapping with others can help reduce the intensity of your own issues. This is known as “borrowing benefits” and is one of the most profound discoveries of EFT.

You will also learn the basics of this powerful yet simple EFT technique, so you can continue to practice EFT on your own to resolve daily stresses.
