Emotional Intelligence has been identified as one of the top skills for the 21st Century by the World Economic Forum.
What is emotional intelligence anyway? Basically, it’s the ability to notice your emotions, know what you’re feeling, be able to feel what you’re feeling, and know how to navigate through the experience. This leads to greater self integration, which also allows more empathy for others’ emotions, deepening connection and social interactions.
You’d think it was a no brainer to feel your feelings, right? But there’s a big difference between knowing what you’re feeling and being able to experience the emotions.
Most of us have never been taught, or never learned, how to navigate the intensity of ‘bad’ feelings. It’s difficult, and can be literally painful; these uncomfortable emotions are not only in our mind and in our thoughts but also held in our physical bodies. (For example, tightness in your neck and shoulders when you’re worried, tension in your stomach when you’re nervous, or heaviness in your heart when you’re sad).
In this workshop I share how acknowledging and mobilising emotions regulates interactions, physical health, and responses to daily stress. When you use your emotions as your guideposts rather than something to run from, you can be responsive vs. reactive; empowered in life, in health and in your relationships.
I will introduce Emotional Freedom Techniques (also known as EFT or tapping), a simple, practical and useful technique that you learn to use right away. EFT is a powerful tool that helps in the three ‘A’s needed for healing and growth: Awareness, Acceptance and Action.

This is a combined foundation and practitioner level three day training in which you will learn the full set of EFT skills.
EFT Level 1 is an introduction to the power of EFT where you learn foundational knowledge and skills. Whether your intention is to help yourself or to become a certified EFT practitioner, Level 1 is the first step and an essential part of the course.
In Level 2, you will gain a solid foundation in EFT, sharpening your technique and approach. Level 2 equips you to deal with a wide range of issues using tools from the EFT Toolbox, from releasing blocks and uncovering core beliefs to working with trauma and physical pain.
This training consists of 3 days in-person training with instructive and experiential learning, including live demonstration, practical hands-on practice in supervised pairs.

For practitioner certification, there is an additional mentoring and assessment process after this Level 1/Level 2 training. This includes practice, case studies and an online multiple-choice Practitioner exam.
Once you’ve completed all requirements, you receive practitioner certification and an “Accredited Certified EFT Practitioner” status with EFTi.

Setting and achieving goals for teenagers at this time of life can be stressful and time is scarce!
In two 90 minute sessions, teens will learn and practice the EFT Tapping technique and save many hours spent worrying, feeling upset or procrastinating on assignments and school work.

Catherine and Falguni have both taught tapping to their children to help them: feel empowered in relationships with others at school, reduce fears about a past accident on the school bus, recover from meltdown before GCSEs, understand the reasons for their procrastination to finally complete important assignments, overcome insomnia to get sleep the night before the SAT, and deal with friendship woes.
In turn, they have taught it to their friends to reduce opening night jitters and to feel calmly confident against a very tall basketball opponent!
EFT is quick and easy to learn. We will keep the group capped at eight to ensure each participant gets ample time and practice.

Our bodies are auto-regulating systems that are designed to heal naturally. If you cut your finger, the cut heals automatically – unless it is prevented from healing in some way. So why is it that some symptoms simply don’t seem to resolve?
What gets in the way of your body healing?
When injuries, physical pain and illnesses recur or stay chronic over extended periods of time, there is usually some unconsidered aspect getting in the way. Healing can be impeded by unconscious thought patterns, beliefs, decisions, stressful environments, habits, as well as lifestyle choices.
Recent, acute physical injuries (for example, a fracture, sprain or muscle injury) can heal faster when any emotional and mental residue from the time of injury is recognised and released. This could be fear experienced at the time of injury, something seen, heard or felt, any limiting beliefs, even worry or anxiety from receiving a diagnosis.
What if you knew exactly what needs to be resolved and to allow your body to heal fast?
META-Health is the science of body-mind-social health with a focus on how specific stress triggers, emotions and beliefs affect specific organ symptoms. It is about the interconnectedness of the body, mind and social environment and the art of self-healing.
